what kind of wax and fragrances do you use?

pillar candles: vegetable pillar wax mixed with regular soy wax at a 2:1 ratio with no added fragrance. pillar candles that aren’t made with paraffin wax don’t “throw” scent well.

container candles: coconut wax mixed with regular soy wax at a similar ratio. i use about 10% fragrance oil specifically made for candles. i don’t use essential oils because they evaporate out at high temperatures and can be toxic to inhale (especially by pets).

How do refills work?

They are half price (rounded down if price is an odd number) and unlimited, so long as the jar is in good shape. Fill out this form or send me a DM on Instagram. You pay upfront and then can either drop them off to me in the Old East Dallas/Lower greenville area or mail them to me. once they’re ready you can pick them up or i can mail them back to you (postage will be added to the total).

i’ll clean them out, attach a new wick and pour new wax. I would prefer if you gave me a general scent type (woodsy, floral, etc) rather than a specific scent combination. depending on my workload these may take a while to complete. bear with me!

Do you host private events?

yep! you can see prices and info here. individual seats are purchased ahead of time and a 25% deposit is required.

how do you ship candles in the summer?

very carefully! during the warm months (march through september in dallas) i line my packages with thermal bubble wrap to protect them from melting and only ship on monday and tuesday to avoid the candles sitting in a warehouse all day sunday.

it’s important to turn on shipping notifications for the package so that it doesn’t sit out on your porch step. if your order does end up melty i’ll refund you! just get in touch.
